Technology for a New Era of Breast Health

No Woman Should Need Luck
Most women find out they're at risk the same way I did by accident.
Majority of Armenian women aged 30–60 have never had a mammogram. Not because they don't care, but because no one ever told them where they stood, or that there was anything to ask about until something was already wrong.
Amina exists to close that gap. We built a science-backed risk assessment grounded in years of clinical oncology research and put it where every woman already is: her phone. In a few minutes, she gets a clear picture of her personal risk, and if it matters, a direct path to the right doctor. Not a diagnosis. A direction early enough to matter.
I was 35 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer found by a scheduling accident, not a screening program. That accident gave me a second chance most women never get. Amina is what happens when that chance isn't left to chance.

Building a Culture of Proactive Health
The vision behind Amina is simple: every woman should have access to a trusted tool that stays with her every day, right in the palm of her hand. A tool that helps her understand her personal risk based on the best available scientific knowledge and empowers her to take action before symptoms appear.
But Amina is about more than breast health. Our goal is to help build a culture of awareness, self-respect, and proactive care. When a woman understands her health risks and learns to pay attention to her body, she develops habits that extend far beyond breast cancer prevention. She becomes more engaged in protecting her overall health and well-being.
For too long, healthcare has often begun when symptoms appear. We want to help shift that mindset toward earlier awareness, informed decision-making, and preventive action. By placing accessible, science-based risk assessment in the hands of women, we hope to encourage a new culture of proactive health management.
Breast cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality among women worldwide. While no single tool can solve this challenge alone, we believe Amina can become an important part of a broader effort to reduce late diagnoses, improve outcomes, and ultimately save lives. Every woman who understands her risk earlier has a greater opportunity to act earlier—and that can make all the difference.
